ISM – ab schola ad mundum – from our school to the world
This slogan also works the other way round: From the whole world to our school. Two students from grade 10 visualized this concept in a world map.
We, Daphne and Laura, had the idea of creating a world map to show parents the diversity of students and teachers we have at school. Using a variety of colors, we visualized how many different nations are represented at the ISM in the school year 2015/16, for the 10th anniversary of ISM. We used this as a project for our CAS class.
ISM meets handball world champion Henning Fritz
On 28th September from 6 pm to 8 pm two students and two teachers of the ISM took part in an event called „Throw hard – Schweinfurt sucht den härtesten Wurf“ for a good cause. The organizer of the event was the mayor of Schweinfurt, Sebastian Remele. Guest of honour was Henning Fritz, Handball champion and world class goalkeeper. This was one of the yearly charity events that takes place in Schweinfurt (Schweinfurt hilft Schweinfurt).
