As Action activity for “Sharing the Planet, Equal Opportunities”, 5th grade collected coins from home in order to buy flocks of chicks from Heifer Foundation for poor families. They collected 114,03 € (around 133 $)! Dr. Still will round it up to 140 $ and that will buy seven flocks (10 to 50 chicks a flock).
