Our grade one students are looking into “how we organize ourselves”. During this unit of inquiry the students explore the different roles people play in the communities in which they belong to. Bakeries play a major role in all German communities and today our students had the opportunity to visit Bäckerei Schmitt in Bad Kissingen. Here they were able to explore how bakeries operate and even had the chance to bake a few cookies of their own.
