ISM “Middle School Science Fair”
On June 9th the ISM hosted the Middle School Science Fair. Each student chose their own topic for the project and put a lot of effort in researching and executing their experiments. There was a big variety of experiments: creating a solar cooker, watering plants with aspirin, measuring the effect of different drinks on the blood sugar, the quality of nail polish depending on its price, the influence of videogames on focus and heart rate.
I’ve enjoyed watching their progress throughout the assignment and it was great to see their final projects and posters. Primary School and grade 11 students as well as some teachers came to visit and were impressed by the excellent work from the Middle School and the grade 9 students.
