Students applied their skills in the Lightweight Design Workshop
On June 3rd, our High School students got some hands-on experience through a workshop provided by the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (https://www.fhws.de).
In this Lightweight Design Workshop, the students had the opportunity to design and construct a bridge using lightweight materials. The group that constructed the lightest bridge that could carry 500 g and where the model car could roll over won the competition. Congratulations to all groups for very creative solutions!

In a second room, the students engaged in several science experiments, for example testing the stability of different materials or making fiber composite material.

Thanks to the team from the FHWS for this great opportunity!
