ISM wins Ukulele contest
The ISM team, music teacher Scott Withers and High School Coordinator Michael Gündert, has won the Ukulele Contest at the 2nd Ukulele Days at the Thomann music store.
There were eight participants who presented a self-composed song on the ukulele to the audience. With their song “Ocean”, Scott Withers (ukulele, vocals) and Michael Gündert (cajon) took the audience on a trip to the beautiful beaches of Hawaii.
The prize for first place, a ukulele, will be donated to the music program of the ISM.
