B&M field trip to SRAM
On Tuesday the 14th of November, the grade 11 Business Management students and their teacher Mr. Cunningham toured the SRAM Bicycle components factory in Schweinfurt. The purpose of this trip was to help enable to students to analyse an international company’s internal environment (for example, internal stakeholders and corporate social responsibility initiatives) and external environment (for example the impact of technological change and globalization).
The afternoon started off with a presentation from SRAM representative Bernhard Johanni followed by a question and answer session We then toured the facilities which included the research and development department as well as the marketing department.
This was one of the culminating events of the introductory unit Business Organization and Environment.
